Fall is my favorite time of year🍂
I love everything about it🍁

The feel of the crisp air, the smell of bonfires, the warm drinks, fuzzy blankies...all of it is cozy and comforting.
⠀
Every year our family travels to the mountains to see the beautiful leaves and visit our favorite general store for candy, soda from a glass bottle and sitting on the rocks by the creek.
⠀
These memories are some of my favorite because it was the one thing every single member of our family looked forward to with excitement.
⠀
Even when the kids were teens they loved this annual trip so much they actually didn’t mind smiling for this momma’s obsessive picture taking.

S H E is charitable

She is willing to share what little she has to those who have even less.

She is not afraid to help others that are different from her.

She is not swayed by public opinion or the unapproving glances of others.

She only sees another child of God and she extends her hand.

“She extends her hand to the poor, And she stretches out her hands to the needy.” Proverbs 31:20‬ ‭NASB‬‬

S H E provides She plans for the needs of her fa

S H E provides

She plans for the needs of her family and makes sure they have everything they need.

Meals prepared at just the right time.
Fresh sheets to rest their head.
Loving arms to welcome them home.

Yes, all the everyday needs of food, clothing, and shelter, but most importantly...

she opens the Word and reads to them. Prays for them.

She provides an example of being in relationship with Jesus.

Of having faith on hard days.

Of believing in His goodness when it can’t be seen or felt.

She provides them with examples of strength during illnesses.

And peace during chaos.

She always points them back to Him.

S H E is skilled She has specific talents and gif

S H E is skilled

She has specific talents and gifts placed into her by God and she uses them for good.

She ministers to her family and friends through her unique abilities.

She is creative and inventive when solving problems.

She uses her skills to bring joy to others.

Whether it’s sewing, crafts, teaching, fixing, creating, writing, designing, or a myriad of others talents, she is aware her Creator instilled these gifts to be used for His glory.

And she does not let them go unused.

S H E is strong Every morning when she rises she

S H E is strong

Every morning when she rises she clothes herself in strength.

She knows she will need it to carry the weight of the day with all of its demands, worries, and distractions.

She is able to face any situation because the strength she carries is the joy of the Lord, knowing He is in control of it all.

With God on her side, she is strong enough to move mountains.

She can stand against the enemy and say, “Not today, satan.”

S H E is wise and resourceful Don’t think so?

S H E is wise and resourceful

Don’t think so? Just watch as she springs into action when she finds out the night before that little Johnny has a big project is due 😊

She also is wise and resourceful within the household budget. Making sure the needs are met while stretching the money as far as she can.

She gives careful consideration to prioritize each need vs want and acts according to the best interest of those she loves.

She will often find her own needs being at the bottom of the list to provide for others.

This week is a great time to tell ALL the WOMEN in your life how much you appreciate them.

And give them permission to treat themselves.
