We are taking a break. Want to join us?

Social media is a great tool for connecting with the people we care about and for finding & sharing Biblical encouragement.

But there is so much clutter in between all of the good stuff, and we can find ourselves mindlessly scrolling, consuming too much of our time and energy, overwhelming our minds, and stealing our peace and productivity.

It’s distracting us from hearing God’s voice.

Sometimes I just need a break. So during the month of August, I am going to limit the amount of time I am online, and rest, refuel and reset.

Throughout the month, you will find information on taking a break, getting rest, and God-centered soul care. You will find all this information plus Biblical encouragement posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages, though we won’t be posting as frequently as you might be used to. We will be sharing 3-4 days a week instead of 7 days because...well, rest!

RESOURCES FOR TAKING A BREAK
If you are looking to quiet the noise of social media, now is a good time to take a break, too.

Set your own goals for how much time you want to spend on social media over the next month. There is no wrong answer. It’s whatever works for you and your lifestyle.

Thank goodness I am no longer a captive to the law

Thank goodness I am no longer a captive to the law...I don't think I could keep up with all those rules anyway! 😁

Now we can serve God, not by checking off a list of right/wrong, but living by the Spirit in FREEDOM!

We like to quote this verse, especially as moms, right?! We want our kids to learn to always tell the truth.

"The truth will set you free"

But if you will notice, Jesus says, "IF you hold to my teaching...THEN you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

The only way to know truth is to study His Word and be obedient to what we learn. Only then will we be able to walk in F R E E D O M.
